Fuxiang Zhao graduated from China Agricultural University and currently serves as Technical Director of Hangzhou Youben Animal Vaccine Co., Ltd. He previously worked at Tianjin Chia Tai Feed Technology Co., Ltd. and in the Animal Health Technical Department of Pfizer in the United States. He is also the founder of the Chang’e Xindan-line nucleus breeding farm and has extensive experience in systematic feeding and management practices for highly prolific sows.

Mr. Zhao specializes in on-farm clinical diagnosis and the management of major and complex swine diseases. He has extensive hands-on clinical experience with PRRSV, PEDV, and PRV. He was among the first in China to advocate and promote a combined live and inactivated vaccine strategy for PRRS, and his approach to the precise prevention and control of PRRS has earned strong recognition within the industry.

Over the years, he has worked extensively with large-scale swine production groups across China, providing on-site technical support and disease management expertise. He has also published numerous professional articles in leading Chinese swine industry journals, including Swine Production, on topics such as pre-vaccination assessment for PRRS, immunization and eradication strategies for pseudorabies, and the diagnosis and prevention of Haemophilus parasuis infection.
