He has led one National 973 Program project, three grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one National 863 Program project, and over 20 provincial- and ministerial-level research projects. He teaches the undergraduate course "Animal Reproduction" and graduate courses "Animal Cell Engineering" and "New Technologies in Animal Reproduction". He has authored or co-authored 12 monographs and textbooks, and published 254 academic papers, of which more than 50 are indexed by SCI.
