Jie Yu, Ph.D., is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Sichuan Agricultural University. He was selected into the first batch of Young Talents of the Shennong Talent Program of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and is an Academic and Technical Leader in Sichuan Province, Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Talent in Sichuan Province, and a Young Top-notch Talent of the "Tianfu Qingcheng Plan" of Sichuan Province. His research focuses on pig nutritional metabolism and healthy breeding, he has successively presided over and participated in more than 20 provincial and ministerial-level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Key Research and Development Program Special Project, and the Major Science and Technology Special Project of Sichuan Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan. He has won one second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and one second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award. He has also published over 100 high-level papers and obtained 17 authorized patents.
