Ning Lu became the Applied Research Manager at PIC China in February 2023. In this role, he leads the PIC China Nutrition Services and Applied Research teams, focusing on providing nutrition technical support to customers and conducting extensive applied research trials to drive quality and efficiency within the Chinese swine industry. Prior to his current position, Ning joined PIC North America in 2019 as a Nutritionist on the Global Nutrition Team, delivering technical services to PIC customers globally. 

Ning holds a B.S. (2008) and an M.S. (2010) in Animal Nutrition from China Agricultural University, advised by Prof. Shiyan Qiao. He obtained his Ph.D. in Swine Nutrition from the University of Kentucky in 2018, advised by Prof. Merlin Lindemann.
