Dr. Yulong Yin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, doctoral and postdoctoral supervisor. Dr. Yins current titles include: the research leader at the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences; the subject-leader of the animal science of Hunan Agricultural University; the leader of the Yuelu Livestock and Poultry Breeding Center; the vice dean of the Academic Committee of the Animal Nutrition Laboratory Group of the Ministry of Agriculture; the dean of the National Engineering Laboratory for Pollution Control and Waste Utilization in Livestock and Poultry Production, the chairman of the Minor Element and Food Chain Society China Association of Agricultural Science Societies; the honorary chairman of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine and Agricultural Industry; the vice chairman of China Feed Industry Union; the chairman of the National Swine Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. Dr. Yin is also the editors of scholarly journals: Editor-in-Chief of Animal Nutrition (IF6.3), the editorial board member of Chinese and English Versions of Chinese Science Life Science (IF6.8), the editorial board member of Journal of Animal Science, member of the Presidium of the Nanyang Academy of Sciences. Dr. Yin had been involved in research in livestock and poultry healthy breeding and environment footprint of livestock production for over 30 years. Dr. Yin has presided over more than 30 research projects (International Cooperation project, State project, etc). He has published over 300 SCI papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals as the first, corresponding or co-authors. These publications have been cited more than 40,000 times in peer-reviewed journals including Science, Nature, Cell and PNAS, which has gained him an H index of 88 in the google scholar. He has been granted 52 national and international invention patents. Dr. Yin has edited 16 Chinese and English books. Meanwhile, Dr. Yins innovation achievements had been awarded by National Innovation First Prize,” “National Natural Science Award, Second Class,” “Hunan Province Outstanding Contribution Award, Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Agronomy, the Selection Board of Holeung Holee Foundation, HongKong, and the Asia-Pacific Nutrition Award in 2018 (APNA, 2018).
