Zhiping Zhu, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences
Dr. Zhu is a researcher and principal scientist of the National Waterfowl Waste Treatment and Utilization, Executive committee member of the Animal Husbandry Engineering Branch of China Agricultural Engineering Society. He has led more than 10 projects including National Natural Science Foundation, National Key R&D Special Project, second National Pollution Source Survey, and the Livestock and Poultry Industry Source Measurement Project. He has published more than 50 papers, including 20 SCI papers and edited two books. As the primary inventor, he has obtained 6 patents and more than 10 national standards and industry standards.
Dr. Zhu participated in the formulation of “Proposal of from the state council on accelerating the utilization of livestock and poultry waste resources”, “Overall Plan for the Management of Outstanding Problems in Agricultural Environment (2014-2018)”, "Guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture on Adjustment and Optimization of Pig Production Distribution in the Southern Water Network Areas" , and "Live and Manure Resource Utilization Action Plan (2017-2020)".
