Xuehui Cai

Professor Cai, doctoral supervisor, is the chief scientist of division in the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of CAAS. He has been awarded special allowance of State Council; Millions of Talent Projects National candidates; national Outstanding Contribution of Young and Middle-aged Scientists; and the leading talents in Heilongjiang province. His research mainly focus on the epidemiology of important swine diseases, particularly the molecular epidemiology of PRRS and PRV, the pathogen-host interactions and molecular pathogenesis, and development of related prevention and control technology of swine diseases such as vaccines.
