Luc Dufresne is a 1988 graduate from University of Montreal College of veterinary medicine. He practices as a swine production veterinarian for Sur-Gain in Canada and Brown’s of Carolina (Smithfield foods) in North Carolina and as a technical services veterinarian for BI-Vetmedica and PIC. Since 2004 he works for Seaboard Foods (USA) where he is the senior director of veterinary services. Luc Dufresne received the 2014 Allen D. Leman Science in Practice Award and the 2016 Swine Practitioner of the year award from the American association of swine veterinarian.
